Having started his career working as a Parliamentary Researcher and then in national public affairs, Scott has 20 years’ experience of working within the political and communications sphere.
Prior to establishing Resolve Public Affairs, he spent seven years at a property communications agency based in Leeds, where he has led consultation and communications for a large number of major planning applications. Notable project successes include promoting plans for the largest M&S store outside of London at Cheshire Oaks, a new Community Stadium and enabling retail development in York and major employment schemes on behalf of ProLogis in Bradford and Lichfield.
He also represented Sainsbury’s for many years undertaking many campaigns for new stores and store extensions across the North of England. Other previous clients have included Westfield, National Grid and ASDA.
Scott has successfully led communications for planning applications for a number of supermarkets, retail units, shopping centres, residential properties, energy projects, office and commercial development projects.

Emily has over ten years’ experience in the property industry and has provided communications support for a number of key national and international retail brands such as ASDA, Sainsbury’s, IKEA and Westfield.
She joined Resolve following a year at a Leeds based PR firm helping the company grow its property arm and before that, Emily spent seven years working for a property communications agency based in Leeds. Here she led political, stakeholder and community relations for both public and private sector clients. She has extensive knowledge and experience across all sectors including retail, residential, commercial, sport and energy. Her varied past client list includes Commercial Estates Group, KFC, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner North Yorkshire and National Grid.

Tamsyn joins Resolve Public Affairs as an Account Executive following successfully completing our three-month internship programme. Tamsyn graduated from the University of East Anglia with a 2:1 degree in Politics. Whilst at University, Tamsyn completed several internship roles, both in the UK and abroad, giving her a wide breadth of political knowledge.
She worked in New York City as part of the campaign team for a democrat candidate in the New York State assembly election. Her work led to an endorsement of the candidate by the New York Times. Tamsyn also spent time as an Assistant European Policy Officer at the East of England European Partnership in Brussels, representing the Partnership’s stakeholders at meetings at the European Parliament, European Commission and Committee of the Regions.
In the UK, Tamsyn completed a parliamentary and public policy research internship for the former home secretary, the Rt Hon Charles Clarke, advising on government policy and legislation. She also worked within the community and economic departments at South Norfolk District Council, researching the CSR policies of local and national companies to assess the positive impacts on local communities and advising where improvements could be made.

Paul has a huge amount of communications experience, gained at both local and national level. Paul’s career so far has been varied, reflecting his interests. At the age of 23 he was the features editor for a well-known national music magazine and also found the time to write a well-regarded book on football. Following this, Paul worked for a Sheffield-based public relations agency on a wide-range of projects. While there he worked on the promotion of a city centre retail development as well as implementing bespoke PR campaigns for well-known national brands.
